Leon Lofton

Henderson, TN: Leon Whitten Lofton, age 66, passed away March 23, 2010 at the Chester County Healthcare. He was born in Bethel Springs the son of the late Elmo and Verda Lee Whitten Lofton. They moved to Millington and later to Henderson. He went to school in Chester County. He was married to Donna Clayton in 1965. They made their home in Henderson all their married life. He farmed until 1988 and then went into the car business. Leon and his wife Donna owned and operated PandL Used Cars. He was a member of the Finger Baptist Church. Donna passed away in 2007. Leon loved car racing and old cars.He is survived by two sons, Leon Lofton, II and Chad Lofton and wife Amy of Henderson; two daughters, Michelle Collins and husband Jon and Monica Russell and husband Kurt all of Henderson; five grandchildren, Lindsey Collins, Logan Collins, Jacob Collins, Lauren Lofton and Seth Lofton; a sister, Nona Seaton of Henderson and a brother, Taze Lofton of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Clayton Lofton in 2007 and a brother, Larry Lofton.
