Leo Tate Fish, 91, of Hickory Valley, died October 24, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He retired from Fruehauf Trailer Co. as a truck driver in 1980 after 27 years of service. Mr. Fish was born May 3, 1915, in Bolivar, son of the late John N. Fish and Maggie Owens Fish and lived here most of his life. He served in the military during WWII and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Services were 1:00 pm Friday, October 27, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Ray Lovelady and James Howell officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Hickory Valley.
Survivors include four daughters, Alice Fay Smith of Bolivar, Crystal Sterling of Somerville, Phyllis Phillips and Polly Morris, both of Hickory Valley; two sons, Douglas Leon Fish and Wallace Tate Fish, both of Hickory Valley; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
