Mrs. Wilson passed away Tuesday night, November 5, 2013, at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson.
The widow of Leonard Marion Wilson, who died in December of 1972 after over 30 years of marriage, she was a homemaker. She was born March 16, 1925 in Saulsbury, daughter of the late George Brooklyn McCommon and Dora Mae Bryant McCommon and lived in Saulsbury and Rogers Springs areas for over 30 years. She then moved to Jackson, living there and in Bells prior to her death. She enjoyed working with her plastic canvas, quilting and growing her flowers. Mrs. Wilson was a member of West Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Hill of Bells, Sarah Baker and Georgia McMillan, both of Humboldt; two sons, Aubrey Wilson of Humboldt and R. L. Wilson of Big Sandy; six grandchildren, Rob Wilson, Cindy Sellars, Tracy Mullins, David Hill, Mark Stanfill and Robin Wilson; and seven great grandchildren, Kristen and Nichole Wilson, Katelyn Sellars, Amber and Dillon Mullins, Abigail and Allison Hill. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a twin sister and four brothers.
