Lelia Mae Johnson-Sparks age 89, worked and retired from Angelica. She was also a homemaker, a bus driver, cook, and loved helping people. She was a faithful member of Nebo Tabernacle until her health prevented her.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Vera and Daniel Johnson; brother, Floyd Johnson; and sister, Pauline Fuller.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Syvoid W. Sparks; five children, Syvoid (Darlin) Sparks of Sandusky, Ohio, Annie (Al) Batson of Nashville, Tennessee, Geraldine Blake of Nashville, Tennessee, Vera Ann (Erick) Snelson of Centreville, Alabama, and Lavona Jackson of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Harold (Elsie) Johnson of Sandusky, Ohio; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
