Lela Pearl Davis was born November 7, 1927 in Phil Campbell, AL the daughter of the late William Willey Duboise and Hattie Mae Lucille Smith Maddox.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Eugene Davis on March 10, 1947. Mr. Davis preceded her in death on February 19, 2015.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Crump Pentecostal Church, but considered Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville, TN her home church. She was baptized in the name of Jesus in 1977. She loved to play her guitar and spend time with her grandchildren. She loved Gospel music, reading her Bible, crossword puzzles, her cat Buttercup and her dog Cinnamon.
Mrs. Davis departed this life on January 23, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 2 Months, 16 Days. She is survived by her children: Shirley (Dottie) Banks of Adamsville, TN, Lillian Lucille Davis of Adamsville, TN, Leland Eugene (Bo) Davis and wife Lisa of Savannah, TN, Elen V. Wilkerson and husband James of Crump, TN, Donnie Carroll and wife Charolette of Savannah, TN, Ronald Dennis Davis and wife Jana of Savannah, TN, Debbie Warren and husband Randell of Crump, TN, Lloyd (Bug) Davis Jr. of Savannah, TN, Teresa Lish and husband Todd of Humboldt, TN, Samantha Buttram of Savannah, TN, Joanie Marie Davis of Savannah, TN, Donnie Davis and wife Tracy of Morris Chapel, TN, Jessie Davis and wife Stephanie of Savannah, TN, Jason Davis of Savannah, TN; 40 grandchildren, 87 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Mae Lard; two brothers, Ollie Duboise and Verley Dean Duboise; four grandchildren; Joshua Davis, Melvin Davis, Lorrie Wilkerson, Kimberly Wardlow; four great grandchildren; Summer Rose Davis, Madalyn Copwood, Randell Warren, Carson Davis.
