Lela Coady

She was born in Chester County, the daughter of the late Ellis and Lula Newsom Ross. She attended schools in Chester County and was married to Guy Milton Coady on March 17, 1929. She was a lifetime resident of the Unity Community at Jacks Creek. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and a member of the Unity Quilting Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Jaince Goodwin and her husband Danny of Jacks Creek; three sons Guy Neal Coady and his wife Jean of Hickory Withe, TN, Joe Coady and his wife Marie and Bobby Coady and his wife Linda all of Jacks Creek; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren: and a sister Maurene Crowe of Henderson.
Her husband of sixty years Guy Milton Coady, died August 8, 1989: a daughter Mary Lou Coady and two sisters Allene Stout and Fidelia Morris preceded her in death.
