A devoted son, Lee is survived by his loving parents, Lee Emerson Hobbs, Sr. and Ellen Hobbs. The bond he shared with his family was a testament to his spirit. He is mourned deeply by his siblings: Tyler Hennis of Grand Junction, Kendra Britton and Cameron of Johnson City, and Siara Hobbs of Detroit, MI. His joyful interactions with his several nieces and nephews reflected the warmth and kindness that defined his character.

Lee's journey through life was marked by dedication and passion. He earned his education at Rossville Christian Academy, where he received the esteemed Citizenship Award—an acknowledgment of his strong principles and commitment to community service. For the past two and a half years, he skillfully served as a ramp agent for FedEx, contributing his time and effort in his first job to ensure smooth operations and the happiness of those around him.

An outdoorsman at heart, Lee was a competitive shooter and an off-road sports enthusiast, developing a fierce love for hunting, fishing, and the thrill of nature. His adventurous spirit enabled him to thrive outdoors, where he often forged lasting connections with both nature and friends. He loved the water and had a particular fascination with firearms, embodying a combination of excitement and responsibility in all that he pursued.

Lee was a man of strong faith, nurtured in the Southern Baptist tradition, having grown up attending Grand Junction Baptist Church, where he embraced his faith and experienced the profound moment of being 'saved' as a child. This spiritual foundation was indicative of the compassionate heart that Lee possessed, always seeking to lend a hand or offer support to others in their time of need.

As friends and family grieve his untimely passing, they take comfort in the countless awards and accolades he accumulated throughout his life, a reflection of his competitive spirit and determination. Lee's life may have been short, but it was fulfilling and brightened the lives of those lucky enough to know him.

A visitation will be held on February 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. After the service, Lee will be interred at Grand Junction Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

Though he may have departed from this world, his memories, laughter, and infectious zest for life will continue to inspire and resonate within the hearts of all who knew him. Lee "Lil' Lee" Hobbs, Jr. will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered—a bright star that has left an indelible mark on the lives he touched.
