Lee Davis, Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 213, at the age of 85 years, 9 months 5 days.He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August, 10, 1927, the son of the late Lee and Hester Franks Davis. On February 3, 1961, he was united in marriage to Margie Sue Neill, who survives. Lee was a US Army veteran. He had been employed with Savannah Processing for 20 years, Brown Shoe Company for 24 years, and retired from Piggly Wiggly. Lee was a member of Southside Baptist Church and loved gardening.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Neill Davis of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Tim Davis and John Davis both of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber Davis, Dusty Davis, Lindsay Hollins, and Kelli Davis; great grandchild, Brooklyn Hollins; sister, Sally Kate Austin of Savannah, Tennessee and brother, Bob Davis of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Warren G. Davis; sisters, Myrtle Hanna, Blanche Lewis, and Pauline White.
