Funeral services for Laura Alice Holt Winther, Collinwood, TN, will be on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Wayne Kizzire officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 30 from 6:00-9:00 pm and on Thursday, July 31 from 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Waynesboro, TNMrs. Winther departed this life on July 29, 2008 at Wayne Caren Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 8 Months, 20 Days. She was born November 9, 1911 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Sam and Annie Hollander Holt. Mrs. Winther was preceded in death by her husband; Arthur Winther; brother, Clint Holt, half brothers; Edward Holt and Carter Holt; sisters, Katie Cypert and Pearl Daniel.Mrs. Winther was a homemaker and was a Jehovah's Witness .She is survived by brothers, Alvin Holt and Silas Holt both of Collinwood, TN; half sisters, Evelene Hollander and Iva Dean Daniel both of Collinwood, TN, Thelm Williams of New Haven, Mi; several nieces and nephews
