Larry Sipes
Henderson, TN: Mr. Larry Sipes passed away Feb. 3, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Jackson, TN August 27, 1941, son of the late Parker Boone and Bernice Opal Lott Sipes. He grew up in Jackson and Elburn, IL where he graduated from high school.
He married Margaret “Peg” Coddington Krussell in1973 and they made their home in Aurora, IL. They moved to Henderson in 2005. She preceded him in 2021.
Mr. Sipes was a machine repairman who had worked for Caterpillar and Amoco BP Petroleum.
He enjoyed gardening and canning his produce; he also enjoyed fishing.
He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Krussell of Tinley Park, IL; daughter, Teresa Hoffmann of Henderson; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers, Chuck Sipes and Mike Sipes.
There are no scheduled services.
