LARRY DON L. PICKETTHenderson, TN: Larry Don L. Pickett, age 67, passed away July 12, 2009 at his home.He was born and reared in the Sweetlips Community of Chester County, son of the late Sid L. and Lilly Exie Gatley Pickett. He attended school in Chester County and graduated Chester County High School in 1959. He was married to Wanda Lou Brittain in 1961. They made their home in Henderson where Larry owned and operated Pickett Dozer and Backhoe Services for 45 years. He loved hunting, fishing and taking care of his cattle. He was a Baptist.He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lou Brittain Pickett; two daughters, Teresa Tedford and husband Jimmy and Lisa Warren and husband Tony all of Henderson; three grandchildren, Tabitha Shawn Tedford, Larry Chase Warren and Cortney Elizabeth Warren and one great-grandchild, Addison McKenzie Tedford; a brother, Harold Wayne Pickett of Lexington; seven sisters, Patricia McEarl of Lexington, Virginia McEarl of Henderson, Brenda Smith of Lexington, Shirley Hinson of Henderson, Lequita Wylie of Lexington, Shelby Jones of Lexington and Geraldine Henderson of Illinois.
