LARRY MORRIS

Henderson, TN: Larry Junior Morris age 71 passed away April 20, 2021 at his home.

He was born September 27, 1949 in Chester County, the son of the late Ilie William and Mary Lee Spencer Morris. He attended schools in Chester County. He farmed as a young man and worked at various factories. He worked for the City of Henderson Utility Department as a pipeline foreman, retiring in 1995. He married Debra Taylor in 1992. They made their home in Henderson. He attended Bethlehem Church.

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Debra Lou Taylor Morris of Henderson; a daughter, Angela Bushnell of Henderson; a son, Brian Morris (Dawana) of Henderson and a stepson, Jason Cooper of Henderson; a brother, Billy Morris of Selmer; four sisters, Faye Willis of Selmer, Irene Waldrop of Olive Branch, Joyce Vandiver of Selmer and Janice Scott of Scotts Hill and a son-in-law, Andy Reed; seven grandchildren, Taylor Morris, Drew Taylor (Amber), Hunter Bushnell (Kylia), Megan Morris, Nicholas Morris, Doug Beal and Jonathan Farrell and four great grandchildren, Chase Bushnell, Maddie Taylor, Milo Taylor and Naomi Bushnell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tammy Reed (2019), two brothers, J.W. Morris and Jerry Morris and a sister, Mary Bruntz.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday, April 23rd at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Mike Ulmer officiating. Burial will follow in Cabo Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue beginning at 12 Noon on Friday until 3:00 PM Friday service time.
