Henderson, TN: Larry Franklin Kimbel, age 64, passed away March 21, 2010 at his home.
He was born and reared in Cottage Grove Community in Paris, TN the son of the late Mitchell Austin and Hazel Ersell Shankle Kimbel. He went to school in Cottage Grove and graduated from Cottage Grove High School. He was married to Dorothy Connor of Chester County in 1973. They made their home in Henderson. He and his wife worked in the printing business together part time and he also was a police officer for the City of Henderson. In 1980 he went to work full time for White Printing in Henderson. He became disabled in 2003. He was also a volunteer fireman for Henderson for thirty years.
He was a Baptist.
He is survived by a son, Terry Kimbel and wife Tara of Lady Lake, FL and two daughters, Christi Kimbel of Henderson and Cindy Kimbel Bailey of Murray, KY and seven grandchildren.
