Larry Fay Hickerson

LARRY FAY HICKERSON

was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on August 18, 1939 the son of the late Grady Roth and Delphia Lineberry Hickerson.

On June 25, 1993 he was united in marriage to Gazelle Doyle, who preceded her husband in death on July 31, 2008.

Mr. Hickerson served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Oriskany in Japan. He also had worked for a garment factory in Clifton, Tennessee. Larry was an avid Elvis fan. He was of the Methodist faith. Larry was loved so much by his family.

He departed this life on January 28, 2016 in Huntingdon, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 10 days.

Larry is survived by his loving nieces, Linda Hickerson Goad of Waverly, Tennessee and Charlotte Jackson Vaughn of Waverly, Tennessee and his nephews, Jimmy Jackson of Waverly, Tennessee and Mike Davis of Clifton, Tennessee.

He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Charlie Mae Jackson and Imogene Davis and one brother, Jack Paul Hickerson.
