Larry Lynn Harrell

Larry Lynn Harrell, Sr. was born November 8, 1939 in Dyersburg, Tennessee the son of Bertha Mae Moore Dexter, Ira J. Harrell and Martha Rose Avent Harrell.
He was united in marriage to Patricia A. Shockley on April 3, 1990.
Mr. Harrell served his country in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged On October 26, 1964 with the rank of E-3. After obtaining his GED, Mr. Harrell attended nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. During his nursing career, he worked for Hillhaven Nursing Home and Western Mental Health Institute, both located in Bolivar, and for Harrison House in Snow Hill, Maryland. Mr. Harrell was Pentecostal in belief.
Mr. Harrell departed this life on December 28, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 1 Month, 20 Days. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patricia A. Harrell of Hornsby, TN; four daughters: Tina Marie Nicely of Selmer, TN, Carolyn Lynn Pendell and husband Bruce of York, PA, Crystal Lynn McCalvin and husband Carey of Bethel Springs, TN, and Channa Renee Hunter of Water Valley, KY; four sons: Larry Lynn Harrell, Jr. of Selmer, TN, Harlan Wilson Lane, III of Hornsby, TN, Michael Allen Williams and wife Lynn of Delmar, MD, and Patrick Christopher Williams of Jackson, TN; 36 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Demetria Ann Stegall of Saulsbury, TN, Yvonne Marcel Burland of Silerton, TN, and Donna Bratcher and husband Vernon of Batesville, MS; four brothers: James Edward Harrell and wife Sylvia of Bells, TN, Jackie Elton Harrell and wife Sue of Lakeview, AR, Richard Harrell and wife Gwendolyn of Ripley, TN, and Charles Harris of Hickory Valley, TN; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
