Larry Joe Grimes was born September 3, 1956 in Henderson, TN the son of the late Emil Leroy and Naomi Lee Massengill Grimes. He was united in marriage to Theresa Melton on May 17, 1974.
Larry retired from Aqua Glass/Masco Bath. He enjoyed going to car shows and driving his tractor (and getting stuck). He loved to ride his great grandbabies and his dog Zoey around on his golf cart.
Mr. Grimes departed this life on June 27, 2022 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days.
He is survived by his wife Theresa (Melton) Grimes of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Larry Shane Grimes of Bethel Springs, TN; two grandchildren, Shane Cody Grimes and wife Ashley of Bethel Springs, TN, Dustin Wade Grimes and wife Kayla of Bethel Springs, TN; four great grandchildren, Madilynn Grimes, Mallory Grimes, Morgan Grimes, Kinley Grimes; a sister, Linda Jarnagin and husband Tommy of Bethel Springs, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Grimes was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Wayne Jarnagin.
