Larry Aaron Finley was born May 13, 1945 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Joel Gilbert and Mary Ann Martin Finley.
He was united in marriage to Willodean Landreth on May 30, 2015.
Mr. Finley was a Christian and attended Adamsville Free Will Baptist Church. He graduated from Adamsville High School in 1963. He was instrumental in the building of Bruton Branch Baptist Church in Savannah, TN. He was a great carpenter and lots of families in town have evidence of his beautifully built decks.
Larry was a truck driving-carpenter with a lifelong passion for cooking. His specialties were spaghetti and banana pudding. He loved to have family and friends gather to enjoy his latest creations in the kitchen.
Mr. Finley departed this life on January 19, 2018 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 8 Months, 6 Days. He is survived by his wife, Willodean Finley of Adamsville, TN; daughter, Lori Sullivan of Nashville, TN; Larry Finley Jr. and wife Angie of Hartsville, TN, Joel Finley of Maine; stepdaughter, Lisa Southern of Crump, TN; three stepsons, Tony Pipkins and wife Denise of Savannah, TN, Dewayne Harville and wife Brenda of Stantonville, TN, Josh Harville of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Mike Finley and wife Jackie of Selmer, TN; 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren with 1 on the way, 5 Step Grandchildren, 5 Step Great Grandchildren; and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Nelson and Donna Siler.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Finley was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Ray; four sisters and 6 brothers.
