Services for Larry Ronald Ayers, age 55, of Collinwood, TN will bee Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.Mr. Ayers died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN after a sudden illness.A native of Lewis County, TN, he had worked at Murray Ohio Manufacturing for 32 years and was a machine operator with Delta Steel and Tube. He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors, wife, Wanda Harper Ayers, Collinwood; son Bronson Ayers and fiance', Sheena Bradley, Lawrenceburg, TN; step-daughters, Shelley Bray and special friend, Cally Bruister, Corinth, MS, Brandy Wilson and husband, Hank, Tunnell Hill, GA; parents, Herman and Lesbie Sherrill Ayers, Collinwood; brothers, J.H. Ayers and wife, Judy, Collinwood, Jerry Ayers and wife, Stephanie, Waynesboro; grandson, Corbin Dale Ayers; step-grandchildren, Kay Leigh Jo Grimes, Hank Wilson, Jr., Jeremy Allen Wilson, Samuel Taylor Wilson, Shelby Tanner Wilson; step-great-grandchild, Aiden Lee Wilson; nieces, Jerdie Ayers, Shelena Ayers, and Kelsey Ayers.
