Lanny Newman

LANNY NEWMANwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 7, 1945 the son of Virginia Ann Hughes Pickens and the late Aulsey Edward Newman.On October 1, 1974 he was united in marriage to Belinda Gail Coggins, who survives.Mr. Newman was a former Towboat Engineer. He was a very friendly person and loved to help people. Mr. Newman departed this life on April 3, 2009 at the Regional Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 27 days.Other than his wife, Belinda of Adamsville, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 daughters, Rhonda Sharpe of Adamsville, Tennessee and Christy Shannon of Scotts Hill, Tennessee.2 grandchildrenhis mother, Virginia Ann Pickens of Adamsville, Tennesseeone sister, Cheryl Gibbs of Adamsville, TennesseeMr. Newman was also preceded in death by his step-father, Clarence D. Pickens and 2 brothers, Billy Norris Brooks and Gary Kimball Pickens
