Lance Wheeler

March 4, 1984 — April 17, 2010

He was born in Jackson, TN and grew up in the Laurel Hill Community of Chester County. He was the son of Jerry Wheeler and Jacki Roland Wheeler Harris. He attended schools in Chester County and graduated in 2002 from Gateway Christian School in Jackson.



He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2003 and retired as a decorated veteran in 2005 for special operations in the combat zone of Iraq during Operation Iraqui Freedom. After deployment from Iraq, he was stationed in Germany where he assisted in delivering supplies to Iraq. While in Germany, he met the love of his life, Jacqueline Fleischmann of Bad Kreuznach, Germany. Upon military release in April of 2005, he returned back to Henderson, TN and became employed at Kenny’s Pipe and Supply in Jackson. He was the warehouse manager where he worked until his death.



In August 2005, he married Jacqueline Fleischmann in Henderson and they made their home in Bethel Springs, TN. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had recently became a member of the Henderson Masonic Lodge.



He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline of Bethel Springs; his parents, Jerry Wheeler of Jackson, and Jacki (Benny) Harris of Henderson and two brothers, Josh and Kyle Wheeler both of Jackson; one stepbrother, Joey Harris and two stepsisters, Holly McEarl and Emily Brown all of Henderson.
