Services for L. Earl Brewer, 82, Waynesboro, TN will be Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro with Cary Crews and Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
He died at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, TN on Friday, March 31, 2006.
Mr. Brewer, a native of Collinwood, TN, attended Florence State University, had worked with the Bank of Waynesboro from 1948 until 1969, serving as Vice-President from 1954 to 1969, and retired from Wayne Insurance Agency in Waynesboro, TN. He was a member of the United States Coast Guard during World War II, was a member of Wayne Furnace Christ of Christ, and was the son of the late Harvey and Myrtle McGee Brewer.
Survivors, wife, Peggy Throgmorton Brewer, son Michael E. Brewer, brother-in-law, Buddy Throgmorton all of Waynesboro, TN, niece, Trudy Throgmorton Blades of Florence, AL.
