L. B. Kinchen

Henderson: L. B. Kinchen, Jr. age 75, died May 5, 2009 at Chester County Healthcare.He was born and reared in Chester County, the son of the late Lewis Brodie Kinchen, Sr. and Jennie Boyd Kinchen. He attended Chester County Schools. He worked at Quality Mfg. for several years and then worked as a self employed electrician and plumber. He was married to Irene Smith in 1972 and they made their home in Chester County. He was a member of the Henderson Elks Lodge. He was in the Tennessee National Guard for six years. He is survived by his wife, Irene S. Smith Kinchen; a son, Scotty Kinchen and wife Denise; two daughters, Sheila Williams and Kelly Callahan and husband Daniel all of Henderson; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Lott of Henderson, Lois Bauer of Fairview, NC and Nola Frilex of Waterford, MI.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Barnes in 1983; two brothers, Royce Kinchen and Joe Kinchen and also two sisters, Ruth Dunn and Louise Terry.
