Kimberly Roberson Givens was born July 21, 1964 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Walter Roberson of Iron City, TN and the late Iva Nell Kilburn Roberson. She was united in marriage to Dennis Givens on January 30, 1990.
Mrs. Givens was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee.
Mrs. Givens departed this life on March 27, 2009 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 44 Years, 8 Months, 6 Days.
Other than her father, she is survived by her husband, Dennis Givens; a son, Cody Givens and girlfriend, Brooke Parrish allof Iron City, TN; two daughters, Kendra Givens of Iron City, TN, Telina Miles of Florence, AL; three brothers, Kevin Roberson of Iron City, TN, Dennis and Dexter Riley both of Florence, AL; a sister, Pat Riley of Florence, AL; a grandchild, Shannon Paul Dodd; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, TN, with Bobby Rich officiating. Burial will be in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 11 am until service time at the church.
Pallbearers will be Ray Phillips, John Daniel, Charles Quigley, Josh Stults, Robert Dixon, and Cody Givens.
