Kerry Jones

Kerry (Birdie) Jones was born January 21, 1953 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of Nona Wagoner Jones and the late Garland Jones, who preceded him in death on July 27, 2004.He was united in marriage to Connie Peterson on July 2, 1993.Mr. Jones was a pipefitter by profession. In his spare time, he loved watching western movies and reading western novels. He enjoyed working in his yard, taking great pains to make sure everything was just right, and he particularly enjoyed getting together with his friends and family. Mr. Jones departed this life on November 11, 2010 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 57 Years, 9 Months, 21 Days. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Connie (Peterson) Jones of Stantonville, TN; a step-daughter, Liesl Denise Rhoads of Corinth, MS; a step-son, Shawn Clayton Rhoads of Bullard, TX; three step-grandchildren: Lorien Rhoads, Atticus Rhoads, Jordan Johnson; his mother, Nona Jones of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Alesia Jones of Stantonville, TN, Angela Inman of Corinth, MS; a brother, Mark Jones of Adamsville, TN; several supportive aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many extended family and friends.
