Kermit Harbert

Kermit Harbert departed this life on Friday, February 19, 2016, at the age of 92, years, 9 months, 12 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late David Otis and Elsie Franks Harbert. On June 26, 1950, he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Matthews, who preceded him in death on November 17, 2000.
Kermit lived in Morris Chapel for most of his life and was a member of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church. He was self-employed as a carpenter for almost 30 years and a member of the VFW. He enjoyed playing dominoes, sitting and talking with friends, attending church and church functions.
He is survived by his daughter, Lin Kerns of Jackson, Tennessee.
