Kenneth Earl Sherrill

Funeral services for Kenneth Earl Sherrill, age 65, of Collinwood, TN, will be Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 3 pm at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, with Greg Eaton and Josh Stults officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Paul Sherrill, Charlie J. Holt, Bobby Holt, Johnny Holt, William Rogers, and Tommy Beckham. Visitation begins at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Cromwell Crossroads Church.



He died at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 of an apparent heart attack.



Mr. Sherrill, a native of Wayne County, TN, was a logger and cattle farmer, was of the Baptist faith, and was a United States Army veteran. He had been a truck driver for both, Double Cola and R. C. Cola Bottling Co.



He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Mae Tilley Sherrill, stepmother, Ellen Heard Sherrill, and brother, Charles Sherrill.



Survivors, wife, Mary Lou Holt Sherrill; sons, Dwayne Sherrill and wife, Lacy, and Dwight Sherrill and wife, Sherry; grandsons, Derrek and Daekon Sherrill, all of Collinwood, TN; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
