KENNETH ‘BUBBA’ MILLS
Henderson, TN: Kenneth Richard Mills age 57, passed away March 31, 2021 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born December 26, 1963 in Henderson, TN the son of Richard Garland Mills and the late Jo Ann Warner Mills. He grew up in Henderson and graduated from Chester County High School in 1982. He joined the Tennessee National Guard and was in the Guard for five and half years. He worked for Boardman Printing in Jackson for a number of years before they closed. He then went to work for World Color in Covington, TN until 2008.He then worked for Clayton Mobile Holmes for six years before he began working for at Kilgore-Chemring in Toone, TN. He was a hard worker and devoted employee and would do anything for you. He had a big sense of humor and loved joking around. He enjoyed computer gaming, classic rock music, cooking and spending time with his family. He also loved his dog Elvis.
Mr. Mills is survived by a son, Michael Mills (Taylor) of Dyersburg and three daughters, Rebecca Lamb (Steven) of Trimble, TN, Kaitlin Parchman of Henderson and Kendra Mills of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Mychayl Lamb and Jaysen Lamb; his father, Richard Garland Mills of Henderson; two sisters, Brenda Mitchell (Bill) of Henderson and Penny Gower of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Warner Mills and a brother-in-law, Danny Gower.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Friday.
