Kenneth L. Counce was born on January 13, 1937 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Marcus and Celia Fowler Counce.
On September 26, 1964, he was united in marriage to Brenda Parsons, who survives.
Kenneth retired after 50 years from PCA in the Woodlands Division. He was a member of Kendrick Full Gospel Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Corinth, Mississippi. Mr. Counce enjoyed going to church and being with his church family. He also loved playing guitar, singing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchild.
Kenneth L. Counce departed this life on February 10, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 85 years and 28 days.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda Parsons Counce of Michie, Tennessee; daughter, Melisa Whitley and her husband Tony of Michie, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ryan Whitley and Kristen Whitley Cook and her husband Devyn; and great grandchild, Brydger Cook.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma Pogue and Nellie Holloway.
Due to the recent increase in cases of Covid 19 and to honor Kenneth's final wishes, all services will be private.
