Mr. Kenneth James Anderson, 72, of Medon, died Sunday evening, December 24, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widower of Judy Shearon Hancock Anderson, who died December 10, 2002, he was a salesman with American Bakeries and a courier with Purolator Co. Mr. Anderson was born August 31, 1934 in Madison County, son of the late Woodrow Wilson Anderson and Lela Bell Rhodes Anderson and lived here most of his life. He graduated from Malesus High School in 1952. He served in the U. S. Army with the Army Security Agency and 101st Air Borne, 3rd Armored Division as a Staff Sergeant. Mr. Anderson loved old farm equipment and learning about the history of farming. He was very active in attending civil war reenactments, genealogies and gardening and was a master Freemason in Jackson, TN.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristen Patrick of Burns and Sonja Burnette of Franklin; one son, Kenny Anderson of Jackson; one sister and brother, Bonnie Carter and Dan Anderson, both of Tallahassee, Fla. and three grandchildren, Blake Anderson, Zachary Burnette and Sarah Frances Patrick.
