Kendra Oakley

Kendra Oakley was born December 7, 1974 in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of Tracyene Pilkinton Oakley and the late Richard Oakley.

Kendra attended Clemson University and received her masters degree in accounting in 1998. She worked for Caterpillar Financial in Nashville, Tennessee as a tax accountant in the income tax department. Kendra loved to spend time with her family and friends and traveled to historical sites as often as possible. She loved history, especially the history of Hardin County, Tennessee. She was loved by all of her family and friends. 

Kendra Oakley departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 50 years, 2 months, and 8 days.

She is survived by her mother, Tracyene Oakley; brother, David John Oakley; sister in law, Dawn Oakley; niece, Sara Jane Oakley; nephew, John William Oakley; her very special friend, Paul Fanelli; and a host of cousins.

In addition to her father, Kendra was preceded in death by her uncle, Evan Oakley and grandparents, Richard Pilkinton, Molly Pilkinton, Ernis Oakley, and Margaret Oakley.
