Kelly D. Biggers

Kelly Douglas Biggers Sr.was born in Florence, Alabama on December 20, 1942 the son of the late Walker and Edith Loren Pounders Biggers.Mr. Biggers served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 until 1967. He worked as an electrician for TVA. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Biggers departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the age of 66 years, 30 days.Mr. Biggers is survived by a son, Kelly Douglas Biggers, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 daughters, Angela M. Hobby of Savannah, Tennessee and Michelle Darlene Pace of Florence, Alabama; a brother, Larry Joe Biggers of Decatur, Alabama; a sister, Carolyn Flower of Killen, Alabama; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.In addition to his parents, Mr. Biggers was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Loren Prestage; brothers, Bobby Biggers and Donald Biggers.
