Kecia Danielle Parker

Kecia Danielle Parker was born December 13, 1973 in Ypsilanti, MI the daughter of Shelia Cartwright Milford and the late Larry Gene Milford.

Kecia was a 1992 graduate of McNairy Central High School, where she played flute in the band. She earned her LPN certification from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Lexington, TN and worked as a travel nurse. Most recently she was employed at Viviant Health Care in Shelbyville, TN. She particularly enjoyed working with geriatric patients. Kecia was also a licensed beautician and cosmetologist and continued working for OccuVAX after taking the full-time position with Viviant. Hunting, bowling, playing billiards, and singing were among her favorite activities. She was a good person who enjoyed helping others. Kecia was a member of Greater Life Church in Lexington, where she formerly sang on the Praise Team.

Kecia departed this life on November 21, 2022 in Lexington, Tennessee at the age of 48 Years, 11 Months, 8 Days. She is survived by her mother, Shelia Cartwright Milford of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Tessa Valerie Thompson and Celeste Gabrielle Thompson, both of Lexington, TN; a grandchild, Jaidyn Harper Barge of Bethel Springs, TN; a step-son, Mason Dale Parker of Lexington, TN; and many extended family and friends.
