Kay Browder Marlow was born October 23, 1942 in McNairy County, TN the last child of the late Grady and Ethel Emmons Browder.
She was united in marriage to Marvin Joseph Marlow on July 7, 1962. Mr. Marlow preceded her in death on December 21, 2004, following 42 years of marriage. Joe and Kay were parents to four children; Phyllis, Mark, Tim, and Ron.
Kay was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church-the church she attended since a young girl.
Kay worked for many years in factories, including Brown Shoe Company, Jetricks, Inc., and U. S. Classic. She retired from factory work in 1985 to care for her mother during her final years. This is when she discovered her love of caretaking. Kay was a caregiver for many families' loved ones over the next 30 years. This was her calling and she dearly loved them all. Kay was known for her fun-loving spirit and her love of family. Of course, next in line for "Gran" was Thursday when she got her hair done and played Yahtzee with her dear Crabtree Road friends. She also enjoyed helping with the Lawton Community Center and Facebooking with her many cyber friends.
