Kathy Ann Hill McFall

Kathy Ann Hill McFall was born April 25, 1962 in Lauderdale County, AL the eighth child and baby of J L Hill and Hazel Young Hill. Kat, affectionately known to family and friends, lived most of her life in the bend of the River among the cotton fields of Lauderdale County always with a circle of protection from 6 older brothers and her best friend and big sister, Trick. She was always a vital part in the family business, always working and managing the furniture factories at El-Rancho, Mid-South, and Ponderosa. She departed peacefully on January 29, 2016 in Birmingham, AL at the age of 53 after losing her battle to cancer.

She is survived by her children, Rocky McFall and Nicole McFall, grand daughter Gracelyn Adele McFall all of Collinwood, TN. The father of her children Ricky McFall of Lutts, TN. A brother, Billy (Tina) Hill of Florence, AL, and sister Pat (Dickie) Bailey of Lutts, TN. Special friend, Shannon Sharp of Florence, AL, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, February 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee with Dennis Hanvey, Steven Cromwell, and Howard Rogers officiating. Burial following in Oak Grove Cemetery near Waterloo, Alabama with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers are Josh Hill, Caleb Hill, Tyler Hill, Daniel Hill, Nick McIntyre, Brian McFall, Dewayne Brewer, and Jamie Brewer. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
