Kathy L. Long

Kathy L. Long of Waynesboro, TN was born August 26, 1950 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of Reba Staggs Berry who survives of Waynesboro and the late Earl Berry. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Brewer. She was married to Dallas Edwin Long on December 12, 1969, he preceded her in death on November 30, 2001. A housekeeper at Wayne Care Nursing Home, she was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Collinwood.



She died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 1 day.



Other than her mother, she is survived by two sons, Brian Keith Long of Waynesboro, TN and Kenny Edward Long of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Regina Renee Long of Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Wyatt Hayes Kelley, McKinley Faith Allen, Brittney Aleah McLin, and Aiden Zander McLin;

three brothers, Warren Berry of Waynesboro, TN, Bobby Berry of Columbia, TN, and Billy Berry of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Janice Martin of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.



Services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Ricky Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Waynesboro Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Michael Allen, Cleve (Booie) Moore, Brent Olive, B. J. Berry, Wyatt Kelley, and Billy Joe Martin.
