Kathy Sowder Handley

Kathy Sowder Handley was born on February 8, 1956 in Berea, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Raymond (J.R.) Sowder and Hazel Overbay Sowder Edwards.

Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She retired from Praxis Industries where she worked in customer service.

Kathy Sowder Handley departed this life on May 24, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 16 days.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Handley and his wife Brittany of Mobile, Alabama and Scottie Handley and his wife Amanda of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Ricky Sowder and his wife Jan of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Madison, Brantley, Austen, Jackson, and Madelynn; nephews, Jamie Sowder and his wife Candy and Blake Sowder and his wife Natalie; great nephews, Parker, Caleb, Jake, Travis, and Mason; and her fiancé, Rayburn Rich of Savannah, Tennessee.
