Kathryn Russom

Kathryn (Amerson) Russom departed this life on October 16, 2023 at her home in Finger, TN. Kathryn was born on July 11, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Orval and Mandy Jamerson Amerson. 

After her graduation from Adamsville High School, she married Howard Russom, her husband of 54 years. They made their home in Finger, TN. Kathryn worked in a local factory while raising her two children. 

Kathryn was a member of Maggie Jones Methodist Church. 

She enjoyed going to sporting events and other activities of her children, grandchildren, family and friends. In her later years she loved watching birds and other wildlife visiting her yard. 

Mrs. Russom loved being there for other people and helping them in any way she could. Even in the end, when she could not be there physically, she would send cards to people she knew who needed encouragement. She was a loving, caring, faithful, servant of God. 

She is survived by her husband, Howard Russom; children, Sandy Bates, Michael Russom (Christy); grandchildren, Autumn Rogers (Daniel), Sara Russom, and Henry Russom; great grandchildren, Robert Rogers, John Rogers; siblings, Kenneth Amerson (Dorothy), Katie McCormick (Thomas).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude or Alzheimer's Association.
