Kathryn King was born July 8, 1937 in Booneville, MS the daughter of the late Emmett Washington Holley Sr. and Carrie Hester Holley. She departed this life on February 28, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 7 Months, 20 Days.
Mrs. King attended 4th Street Church of Christ in Selmer before becoming an resident at AHC of McNairy County Nursing Home. She was known for her love for animals and taking in strays.
She is survived by a brother, Emmett Holley Jr. and wife Wilma of Selmer, TN and their children, Cindy and Christy; sisters-in-law, Freda Holley and Joy King; and other nieces and nephews.
In addition parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin King on March 25, 2004; and two brothers, J. C. and Robert Holley.
