Kathryn Elizabeth Kilburn Barnett

Mrs. Kathryn Elizabeth Kilburn Barnett was born October 14, 1920 in Lawrenceburg, TN the daughter of the late Edgar and Annie Waymon Gallaher Kilburn. She was united in marriage to Vernon Barnett on September 26, 1943. Mr. Barnett preceded her in death on June 5, 1998. Mrs. Barnett was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro. Mrs. Barnett departed this life on January 28, 2021 in Waynesboro, Tennessee making her stay in this life some 100 Years, 3 Months and 14 Days.

She is survived by two sons, Garry Barnett and wife Ava of Waynesboro, TN, Edwin Barnett and wife Vada Ann of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Susan Barnett of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother Bobby Kilburn of San Antonio, TX; as well as 8 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Barnett; two brothers, Howard Kilburn, Earl Kilburn and a sister, Frances Nell Kilburn.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday February 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Jeff Davis officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting.
