Kathlyn Holland McKinnie

Mrs. McKinnie died early Saturday morning at Bolivar General Hospital.
Mrs. McKinnie was the daughter of the late James Guy and Ora Ethel Ford Holland and had lived in Bolivar since her marriage to Thomas Hallie "Shag" McKinnie in 1939. Mr. McKinnie died August 20, 1991. She was a homemaker and very active in helping her husband run their restaurant, "Shag's" for many years in Bolivar. She also had worked at Frostyland. She was a Baptist in belief.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Frances Ward of Bolivar; her son, Thomas McKinnie of Bolivar; her brother, Ernest Holland of Jackson; two grandchildren, Holland McKinnie of Franklin and Dan Ward of Los Angeles, California; and one great-grandchild, Hallie Grace McKinnie of Franklin.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Delene Major, Hilda Dunlap, Winfred Lane and Dorothy Hays; five brothers, Ford, Clyde, Harris, Gordon and Everett Holland.
