Kathleen Wright

Kathleen Wright was born July 22, 1914 in Adamsville, Tennessee the daughter of the late T. N. and Martha Short Wright.Miss Wright was a principal at Selmer Elementary School and coached basketball. Then she became a Supervisor of Instruction in McNairy County. After Thirty seven years of service in McNairy County, she worked for the Tennessee Department of Education as a supervisor in the Southwest District. She was a member of the Pilot Club, the First United Methodist Church of Selmer,Tennessee, a charter member of Omega and the Gamma Eta.Miss Wright departed this life on November 16, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 3 Months, 25 Days.She is survived by a Nephew, Billy Vinson of Adamsville, TN; Great Nieces and Nephews; Great Great Nieces and Nephews.In addition to her parents, Miss Wright was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Vinson; a brother, Ray Wright; a niece, Mrs.John Sharp and a nephew Dr. Wallace Vinson.
