Kathleen Marie Herndon
was born on August 19, 1935 in Perry County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Richard Thomas and Elsie Marie Pitts McDonald.
On November 15, 1955 she was united in marriage to Homer Daniel Herndon, who preceded her in death on September 13, 1998. Mrs. Herndon was a homemaker.
She departed this life at Hardin Home Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 9 days.
Mrs. Herndon is survived by 5 sons: Ricky Dicus of Clifton, Chris Herndon of Savannah, Mark Herndon of Clifton, Dicky Herndon of Savannah, and Nicky Herndon of Olive Hill; 2 daughters: Wendy Morgan of Clifton and Candy Melson of Olive Hill;
15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild
and one brother, Richard Junior McDonald of Clifton.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Darlene Herndon, one grandson, Franklin Daniel Morgan and two sisters: Jimmy Cathern McDonald and Ora Frances Owens.
