Katherine Elizabeth Walton, 74, of Bolivar, died Monday afternoon, June 25, 2007 at Methodist Hospital Central in Memphis.
The widow of James J. Walton, who died April 29, 1992 after 41 years of marriage, she was a homemaker and a retired beautician. Mrs. Walton was born September 30, 1932 in Toone, daughter of the late Dossie and Rosa Evans King and lived in Memphis before returning to make her home in Bolivar in 1992. She enjoyed quilting and decoration and loved to work with the youth at church. She was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church and also attended Wells Station Baptist Church.
She leaves one daughter, Holly Yvette Deville of Memphis; three sons, Charles David Walton of Snohomish, Wash., Alan Lynn Walton of Panama City Beach, Fla. and James Junius Walton, Jr. of Arlington; three sisters, Margie Arnold of Parsons, Emogene Walton of Bolivar and Irene Vinson of Cloverport; three brothers, Paul Howard King and David King, both of Middleton and Roy Daniel King of Covington, GA; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
