Katherine Irene Lynch Brewer

Katherine Irene Lynch Brewer of Waynesboro, TN was born October 4, 1923 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Hardy B. and Mazy Clay Lynch. She was united in marriage to Elliott Thomas Brewer on December 16, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1979. Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker and a member of the Wayne County Bible Center and departed this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 98 Years, 6 Months, 22 Days.

She is survived by sons, Thomas Brewer, wife, Susan of Brighton, MI, Randall Brewer of Waynesboro, TN, Rickey Brewer, wife, Marcia of Clifton, TN and Ross Brewer, wife, Debbie of Collinwood, TN; daughters, Marsha Cool, husband, Steven of Farmington, MI, Kathy Wilkinson, husband, Jerry of Holt, MI and Angela Williams of Waynesboro, TN; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Whitten of Waynesboro, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by daughters, Nadine Brewer, Darlene Lynn and Hazel Clemens; brothers, Walter , Rex, Roy, Edward, Clyde, Paul and Lester Lynch and sisters, Carrie Moore and Geneva Ray.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Leo Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2022 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 8 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Ray, Jeff Ray, John Lynch, Gary Lynch, Steve Lynch and Tony Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Brewer, Richard Williams, Hayden Brewer, Isiah Collins, Steven Cool, Riley Thrasher, Gabe Love, Shaun Clemens, Shane Clemens, Jacob Wilkerson, Josh Oliver, Xander McWilliams and Seth Williams.
