Katherine Brewer

Katherine Letia Copeland Brewer was born January 3, 1939 in Florence, AL the daughter of the late William Paul Copeland and Mamie Sue Thrasher Copeland Richardson. She was united in marriage to Norris Todd Brewer on September 2, 1956 for 65 years, 11 months, and 10 days. Mrs. Brewer was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She departed this life on August 12, 2022 in Iron City, TN at her home at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 9 days.

She is survived by her husband Norris Todd Brewer; a son, Gregory Brewer; two daughters, Amanda Lancaster, and Rhonda Darnell and husband Zandal, all of Iron City, TN; three brothers, Frank Richardson and wife Sue of Gray, GA, Jerry Richardson and wife Mildred of Cabot, AR, and Ricky Richardson of Collinwood, TN; three sisters, Eleanor Jackson of Collinwood, TN, Barbara Daniel of Cypress Inn, TN, and Susie Butler and husband Gary; four grandchildren, Jonathon Darnell and wife Jessica, Brandon Brewer, Candice Darnell Jenkins, and Brianna Nicole Lancaster; and five great grandchildren, Jacob Jenkins, Zander Jenkins, Sophie Jenkins, Olivia Darnell, and Jack Darnell.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Brewer was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Copeland; sisters, Billie West, Nolie Lovelady, Joyce Bornack; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Brewer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Bob Johnson and Stephen Stults officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.514xcfgh
