KAREN DEDRICK
was born in Kennett, Missouri on September 27, 1954 the daughter of the late William Henry and Martha Clementine Martin Harrison.
She was united in marriage to Ardell Dedrick, who preceded his wife in death on January 17, 2001.
Mrs. Dedrick was a retired cook for Adamsville Elementary School and she also worked for Garan Manufacturing for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville. Mrs. Dedrick enjoyed meeting people, she had a big heart and was very generous. She loved her family and her grandchildren. Mrs. Dedrick enjoyed softball and she enjoyed collecting angels.
She departed this life on December 30, 2008 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 54 years, 3 months and 3 days.
Mrs. Dedrick is survived by one son, Phillip Edward Dempsey and his wife Rhonda Gayle of Savannah, Tennessee
2 grandchildren, Kellie Ann Dempsey and Kaitlin Brooke Dempsey
4 sisters, Mary Lorren of South Haven, Michigan, Carolyn Stafford of Donelson, Arkansas, Shelia Boyd of Batesville, Arkansas and Martha Denise Bray of Rives, Missouri
one brother, Farren Harrison of Mountain View, Arkansas
and many nieces and nephews
Mrs. Dedrick was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Betty Sue Harrison and 2 brothers, Billy Joe and Warren Preston Harrison
