K. Wayne Gant

MSG KENNETH WAYNE GANT, US ARMY RETIREDMSG Kenneth Wayne Gant, US Army Retired, 76 of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away suddenly at Methodist Hospital North July 29, 2009 surrounded by loved ones. In addition to his services in the Armed Forces he retired from the VA Hospital and was an exceptional department Sunday School Teacher at Highland Heights Baptist Church. He was beloved husband of Patty Sue Durham Gant of 55 years, father of Cindy Byars and her husband Larry of Ferron, Utah and Randy Gant and his wife Sherry of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandfather of Cody and Clay Byars of Payson, Utah; great-grandfather of Matthew and Jacob Pugh of Arlington, Tennessee. He also leaves two sisters, Naoma Feathers and Mildred Churchwell and her husband Jimmy of Crump, Tennessee and two brothers, Forrest Gant and his wife Marie of Crump, Tennessee and Joe Gant and his wife Betty of Waycross, Georgia. In addition, he leaves many and much loved nieces, nephews and friends.
