JUNIOR MOORE
Henderson, TN: Carnell Junior Moore, age 79, passed away February 8, 2022 at his home.
He was born August 19, 1942 in Enville, TN, the son of the late Carnell and Ada Gatley Moore. He grew up in Chester County.
He drove for the ambulance service for a time. He then worked as custodian for Chester County Board of Education at North Chester School.
Then he worked for Lofton Chevrolet for sixteen years, retiring in 2004.
He married Carla Kennedy on November 12, 1982. They made their home in Chester County.
He enjoyed riding bikes and working on cars.
He attended the Jacks Creek Apostolic Church.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Carla Dianne Kennedy Moore of Henderson; a son, Jason Moore and wife Falon of Collierville and three grandchildren, Jason Hunter Moore, Jacie Lynn Moore and Jance Gatley Moore.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Brent Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Sweetlips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5 PM until 8 PM on Thursday.
