June Evelyn Isbell Hurst

January 14, 1940 — December 28, 2018

June Evelyn Isbell Hurst was born January 14, 1940 in Woodville, TN the daughter of the late James Virgil and Lottie Mae Chalfin Isbell.

She was united in marriage to Preston Hurst on October 20, 1956. Mr. Hurst preceded her in death on July 27, 1975.

She lived in Woodville, Nashville, Jackson, Tennessee and Rockford, Illinois before returning to the Masseyville Community where she lived for 45 years until her death on December 28, 2018. She worked in a chinese laundermat in Rockford. She worked at Western State in Bolivar for over 20 years. She was a hardworker, loving mother, and Baptist in faith. She was passionate about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hurst departed this life in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 11 Months, 14 Days. She is survived by two sons, Martin Darrell Hurst and wife Jamie of Henderson, TN, David Allen Hurst and wife Debbie; a daughter, Robin Elizabeth Richardson; sister, Betty (Isbell) Elgin; half-sister, Doris Jean; two brothers, Tommy Isbell, Wayne Isbell; four grandchildren, Joshua Maness, David Hurst Jr., Dalton Hurst, Jordan Richardson; four great grandchildren, Jaxon, Makayla, Braden, and Riley Hurst.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hurst was preceded in death by a dear companion of 20 years, Howard Braden; a brother, Virgil Isbell; grand daughter, Erica Hendershot.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
