Julia Bright Jackson was born September 4, 1911 in Alcorn County, Mississippi the daughter of the late William and Mary Isabell Luker Bright.



She was united in marriage to Marshall Jackson on January 6, 1943. Mr. Jackson preceded her in death on April 22, 1980.



Mrs. Jackson was a housewife . She was a member of the Antioch Church Of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee. She loved to sew, garden and enjoyed cooking for her family.



Mrs. Jackson departed this life on May 23, 2008 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 8 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Faye Waldon and husband Jimmy of Walnut, MS; two sons, Buddy Jackson of Ramer, TN, Bill Jackson and wife Melba of Ramer, TN; eight grandchildren, Kim Petty and husband Todd of Ramer, TN, Kelly Jackson of Selmer, TN,Jennifer Sipes and husband Larry of Mercer, TN, Mike Jackson and wife Regina of Selmer, TN, Amy Wilson and friend Rocky Hurley of Walnut, MS, Marshall Waldon and wife Jackie of Walnut, MS, Marcus Waldon and wife Arlene of Walnut, MS and Ayla Waldon of Walnut, MS; fourteen great grandchildren, Sarah Petty, Matthew Jackson, Karlee Jackson, Kaitlyn Petty, Allie Petty, Jack Petty, Jenna Wilson, Lindsay Waldon, Jayme Wilson, Hannah Waldon, Amber Wilson, Hunter Waldon, Julie Leeanne Waldon and Isac Waldon.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jackson was the last surviving sibling of fifteen.
